Hololoot was founded in early 2021 by an AR veteran Adam Białoń. The project was launched to bridge two growing technologies: AR and NFTs. The need for costly equipment like VR headsets and powerful computers also restricted the growing interest in the metaverse.

Hololoot also offers engagement-driven B2B marketing opportunities via its app. Brands can launch promotional assets to users in AR and create a unique experience for their customers.

Hololoot uses technologies like ARkit, AR Foundation, and glTF files to give users an immersive experience. The app takes advantage of depth cameras and LIDAR to create high-precision scans of rooms that recognize parameters and the objects they contain.
Hololoot AR also uses a technology called Light Estimation to generate environment probes in real-time from physical, real-world rooms. The app detects environment light data like temperature and brightness and then applies it to the 3D models with color correction. This allows the models to light dynamically, mimicking the real world.

Hololoot&rsquo;s development roadmap stretches over several years as predicted advances in AR technology come to fruition.
